The Editorials Progress of Deterioration were heavily influenced by my dance background.  Coming off of 10 years of dance I had a heightened physical awareness.  I approached drawing as choreography and I modeled for the poses myself, crafting  the figures based on photographs of my own poses.  The act of mark making was an intensely physical process.  The series was inspired by the wave of construction in the '80s and societies lack of urgency for a greener environment.
